Tanky Tank
This game, created in Scratch and currently being developed with TurboWarp, is about a tank. You have to reach a red flag while avoiding the plants in your path. This game doesn't have much replay value; there are only 12 levels for now. It's my first game in Scratch, and I dedicated a lot of time to its development when I published the first versions. I've created other games before with Scratch, but I didn't upload them here because they were just tests to see how I was learning to program in Scratch, or rather TurboWarp, which is the program I'm currently using. To begin, click the Start button that appears in the menu labeled "Tanky Tank" in green letters. After clicking the green Start button, the tank and the red flag you need to reach will appear. You must guide the tank to the flag, controlling it with the keyboard. If you touch the plants, you lose. You can restart by clicking the button again, since losing takes you back to the menu. If you win, you'll move on to level 2, where you have to reach a blue flag. If you win repeatedly, you'll reach level 12. If you do, congratulations! You've won the game! This game isn't finished yet. I want to make it more complex by programming several things, such as adding sound effects (for example, the tank's roar, which makes the turret move and fire to eliminate obstacles) and allowing for more levels. I'll explore the possibility of implementing these improvements.
This game was originally created in Scratch, and the plants are Anim8or models that I created myself. The tank is also a model I created in Anim8or. The road background uses images from Google, the start button is an Anim8or model I also created, some game elements are models I made with Anim8or, the music is by Kevin MacLeod (this game uses two tracks: one called "Where's the Enemy" from freesound.org, and the other Kevin MacLeod track used in the game called "The descent"), and this game uses some sounds from Freesound.org and YouTube. The music that plays when you win the last level is the Victory Fanfare theme from Final Fantasy VII.
Anything under evaluation will be in parentheses (Evaluation means I will test if it can be implemented without breaking the game; if it cannot be implemented, it will be marked with a slash (/)).
